Quote Does your motherboard support SGX? What the Advisor says to you?

Yes it does support SGX, software enabled only. Advisor says it is not running, but HWinfo64 says it is.

Quote Both CyberLink and Pioneer say adapters are not allowed. However what else is the LSPCON onboard chip than an internal adapter, right? KabyLake does not have a native HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2. With an active DP to HDMI 2.0 adaptepter it may work. Maybe.

I need to try this, was reading somewhere I could get a splitter to send one side to my 4k display and the other to my older AVR for HD audio DTS-HD and Dobly True HD. When I send it through the TV it downconverts to just DTS or DD.

Quote It is Nvidia who must make their GPUs compatible with UHD BD requirements.

I guess I am having a hard time understanding how my GPU can't pass this data if it has the HDMI 2.0 port and is getting the bitstream unlocked from the CPU. Probably because I am not a programmer by trade.

Quote The easiest way to switch the outputs is (in Windows) to create two-monitor setup for your single monitor. One is connected to the iGPU and the other to the video card. Switching the monitors then takes like 10 seconds.

This is still a PITA for me, and the Intel iGPU looks terrible compared to the Nvidia

After months of testing, I was able to do 4K UHD blu-ray playback in HDR and SDR with the new Pascal nvidia quadro cards. The quadro does 12 bits HDR perfecly without the need of cyberlinks requirments for specific motherboadrs and kraby lake CPU's. So far I tested it with Planet Earth 2 4k UHD, The Revenant in 4k UHD, and some in house UHD HDR test disks. All play 4k 60Hz in HDR and SDR and even tested out some blu-ray discs.

An interesting information. Can you tell us more, please? Which motherboard/CPU and UHD BD drive did you use? How did you manage to pass the UHD BD requirements without Kaby Lake and without SGX? .

I have spent months of doing research and tested many differnt types of gpu's, cables, monitors, tv's and drives. With my configuation PowerDVD glithes out for 10-15 seconds when doing a UHD blu-ray playback only in HDR but then plays perfectly fine the rest of the time (I think its because my Tv is trying to swith over to HDR causing the software to flicker around). I passed everything in the advisor without cyberlinks retarded hardware requirments just to do UHD-BD playback, if you want a list of everything I used/tested and the hardware/software im currrently using just email me at jmc247@gmail.com (email because cyberlink can do some of their own research and testing, im not going to make at easy and give out information on thier own website).

I tested playback from both optical drive and files. If you want info and specs just email me.

UHD-BD playback in HDR from disc and file using pascal quadro card from nvidia, the picture with pink OSD shows that the quadro card is doing all the work while the cpu is doing nothing (just to show that nvidia cards do uhd-bd playback)
