Animated line to follow a roadway or flight path

Hi all,

I've recently purchased PowerDirector 15 and am in the process of creating a flight video of a flight in a 737 simulator. I wish to do some preamble of where to and from to put things into context.

So this is newbie question, but the scenario that I would like to create is the inclusion of a png of a map which is ultimately overlaid with a moving line of the flight path (origin to destination). This moving line would include various curves etc and would follow a specific route and a visible trail of where it has originated from. Perhaps at the head of the moving line an icon of an aircraft???

Anyway, first things first. Is it possible to do this and if so - could you please point me in the right direction or the actual process involved.

thanking you all in advance

regards Stu

Hi Tony, Thankyou very much for the links and guidance - absolutely brilliant. I'll download the software and try the two different methods as a learning curve for me.

Thankyou also for the aircraft icon. Your assistance has been very much appreciated.

regards Stu
