When downloading a promoted movie title I alway receive advice from "pdfconverterhq.dll.myway.com" that

the file contains a malicious website and has been blocked.

Is it safe to continue such downloads. kiwilad

Quote It's malware, remove it

Thanks for your prompt response to my last.

I seem to get the same warning whenever I try to download a movie from my PowerDVD 16 program.

Why would cyberlink provide a program which includes links to such sites? - I feel unsafe downloading anything from the program. kiwilad

It does seem that you may have already installed malware on your pc. See this info: http://www.shouldiremoveit.com/FromDocToPDF-Toolbar-23971-program.aspx . Did you install that toolbar to get a free converter lately… It could be that your searches and destinations are being redirected and end up at malware sites instead.

I have System Mechanic Professional and Malwarebytes Anti Malware installed on my PC. Neither of them have advised me that I have any thing amiss. The problem has only arisen following my upgrade to Power dvd 16 a couple of days ago. kiwilad

According to Malwarebytes that friendly advice that you receive from pdfconverterhq.dll.myway.com is a browser hijacker: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/181009-removal-instructions-for-pdfconverterhq/ .
