No Preview Window PowerDirector 15 When Capturing miniDV Tapes

I can hear the audio but there's no video. I thought when I clicked the Record it would open a preview window but it doesn't. Not even sure it's capturing the video. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am using the Sony software and it's importing the video from the Handycam fine with a preview window. It's using an avi format which is fine. They are several years old.

PowerDirector 15 Ultra Win 10 64bit

Close the sony play memories home software. Open the PD15 and in the capture tab click on the white DV camcorder icon in the upper left and it should then turn blue and be active.

Thanks I appreciate it. Just learning this software. Had some Pinnacle software years ago but haven't used it in a while, Getting back into copying all our home movies. Thanks again. Win 10 64bit
