I don't see the RX-series being listed as being compatible with powerdirector 15 but I've seen some people say that their cards worked fine even though they weren't listed as being compatible.

So I was wondering if anyone had expeince with this card working with powerdirector 15.

RX series is relatively new in the market. PowerDirector 15 is optimized for OpenCL. So it will work great with PD15.

Work great, maybe, I'm not positive, I don't have a RX 470 to state positively. Can you post some details why it's great, some performance comparisons that other user can compare to?

However, optimized for OpenCL will not provide a lot of real user editing benefit, unless your videos consist of lots of accelerated Fx applied. The RX 470 is also VCE3.0 compliant as my tested R9 Fury and R9 380 and at this time CL RD acknowledges they have some work to do for hardware encoding functionality, http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/15/50731.page#post_box_267005 Unknown to me if the referenced issue by CL RD is just a R9 problem or if it also affects the RX.

Sure the card will work with PD, as well as virtually any mid-range card, but one's surely not getting the benefits of what was purchased. Any of the Nvidia GTX 10-series or even the GTX 900-series would probably be a much better option with PD15 at this time.
