Try with options shown in attached pic to get your desired 1 min clip in 4K to see what it looks like. Just so you know, taking lower quality video stream and upscaling to 4K is really not what 4K looks like.
Jeff
I am so embarrased
It turns out that PD14 was actually producing the 4K files from the get go.
I was confused by the fact that when trying to play it with the Windows media palyer(my default)it could't handle it and only played the audio as well as showing the movie Icon as a wave file.
I became suspicious when it showed that the clip was 189 meg size ...how could a 2 min audio file possibly be that large thinks I
So I had a look under properties and it was listed as a MP4 file. Tried VLC player and it showed images of sorts but very choppy, could'nt handle it either. Finally I converted it to DVD and played on the big screen, perfect, no choppines crystal clear.
The only draw back is that with my low end system the 1 hr long 1920 x 1080 movies I currently produce take about 55 min (very reasonable) 4096 x 2160 would take about 19hrs so I'll wait till my next upgrade.
I appreciate the effort you put in trying to help
Thank you
