You've been getting some good advice from Longedge, Fenman, Carl & CS.
I'm glad you're beginning to rethink what you do with the footage you shoot with your DJI Phantom 3. Burning to DVD is quite an appalling thing to do to 4K clips! Especially when you're going to view them on a 4K TV!

That process is the reason you're seeing that tearing or combing (interlacing effects). Your starting with 4K/UHD clips 2160p - rendering or burning to DVD format 720x480 - then your player is upscaling when you view it on your 4K TV. In relative terms, it's kinda like this:

As Longedge suggested, you'd get far better results by leaving out the middle step completely. Stream it, transfer it to a thumb/external drive or burn to BR & you'll be happier.
Attached is a screenshot showing a UHD 3840X2160 clip (on the left) and the DVD version of the same frame (on the right)... and that's a still frame. It looks terrible when panning, which is difficult not to do with a drone!
