Hi calum123 -

I agree with HDedit (of course). There should be a number of .exe files present in Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDirector14, including PDR.exe

No errors during installation? Did you follow all the default options?

Have you tried a re-install?

does anyone know of a downloadable installer? Even a torrent? (I've paid for it anyway and have a serial key to use). Just the CD installation isnt working. I have robbed the cd drive from an old computer so that could be the problem.

no.

transfer whatever is on the DvD to an external HD storage or a thumb drive.

then it won't take aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages to install and no

cyclic redundancy error either.

If PepsiMan's suggestion fails then you'll need to contact CyberLink customer support, http://www.cyberlink.com/support/index.html

you mean convert it to an .iso? Im not sure how to do that but I will look into it
[Post New]
No, just copy the files. If there are errors on the DVD, they will show up during the copy process.
Also, if that is the case (errors) maybe you can request a download link from CyberLink, that's why I agree with Dafydd suggestion to contact the support.
