SONY FDR RX100 4K camcorder, Panasonic DMC-G3

Using PD13 and editing in 4K works well, including 90min videos
but only with shadow files (Wish the generation would be faster.)
At the time camera was V1 now updated to V3, greatly improving stabilization and auto focus.
China movie
All shots are on auto, having no sun because of incredible polution was a handicap
-----------------------------------------------
Started in 1950 with a 35mm still camera, in 1954 went to color 8mm then the sequence of super eight, adding a magnetic stripe for sound and of course s8 with magnetic sound.
In those days the cost of 1 minute of edited film was about $2
And those were 1960 Dollars!!!!
1975 saw VHS, a shoulder carried recorder and battery with attached 5" cable and camera. Followed by VHS-C, Super VHS and super 8MM by Sony.
2005 had me using the Sony HDR-HC1 ( at $2000.00) a WOW moment even though resolution was only 1440x1080. Then followed cameras with hard drive and now SD. The best video camera before the AX100 was the Panasonic X900M with incredible resolution when used in 60P mode and a total absense of artifacts due to the 3 sensor design.
Also editing using two tape recorders, the final product was always 2nd or 3rd generation. First pc editing about 15 years ago using Pinnacle software, finally allowing 1st generation quality.
Sometimes I look at my old videos, not too bad as long as you watch from a great distance or a 16" screen.
We have come a long way! From 230.000 pixels (VHS) to 8 000.000 (UHD)
