Crapola - I just purchased V12 a few weeks ago

Hello. I apologize if this is covered elsewhere but from my initial searching I didn't find anything in particular. I am a new user to the PowerDirector software. On September 2, 2014 I purchased PowerDirector 12 Ultimate. I wasn't aware a version 13 was coming down the pike so soon. Uggg. OH well..... what to do, what to do. What would you do? Do I have any options? Should I stick with 12 or turn around and upgrade to 13? Can I get a refund on version 12 and go to 13? I just feel bad knowing that a new major version was just weeks away. But before I bug Cyberlink support I thought I would get a feel on what options I may have from long time consumers.
