Anyone have an idea as to how long this can take I was trying to work on a project for Saturday? I bought the software download earlier today (12:00) and have checked the Member site but no keys are showing?

Thanks

Who did you purchase from, if you purchased from Cyberlink, you would have received an email from Digital River (Element 5) this would have given you the download link and the activation key.
It will not show in your member zone until such time as you register the product.

Purchased it from cyberlink site & I received a confirmation email that looked like an invoice but no link or code.

This is what it reads on my member section:

CyberLink PowerDirector 7 Deluxe (Download version)

* Processing serial number or unlock code.
* Windows
* Download

Does it take a while for them to send the serial???

Hi,

If you still haven't received your download details and activation key by Tuesday (you should have received the info immediately) send me the proof of purchase (order number) and your contact email address, by PM.

Does it typically take this long? I guess I assumed that since I paid online and by credit card the key and download would have instant access. Should I try purchasing again???? I needed it for work this weekend. I will say their customer service is the worst I've seen.

Ugh. I just purchased the program late last night and I am LIVID right now. There is NO SUPPORT here and I am not paying 30.00 to talk to a human when there should not even be a reason to need support. I have searched every corner of this site for a dowload button, instead all I find is something wanting me to spend even more money. I want answers. If it is a matter of time, state that on the website or in an e-mail that it will take time. Otherwise, this is an obvious problem that needs to be addressed.

Got a standard reply from cyberlink telling me to contact Digital River and a link that takes me nowhere! Sent digital river numerous emails with no response. Can't believe none of these companies offer phone support for what they sell. If I don't hear something soon probably see if the FTC can help!!!!

Per Dafydd's instruction, I re-loaded PD 7 after there was an error in my original download. The re-load (from cd) worked, but the authentication didn't.
I sent six messages to Cyberlink, and two to Herman Street, explaining that my authentication key doesn't work. Because my ISP is down for God-knows-how-long, I've asked for reply to either an alternate email address or else as a private email to me at Cyberlink members site. Eight messages over three days. NOTHING. Well, nothing except Herman Street referred me to Cyberlink. Man, this is real quality service.

bchandler78 : I cant do anything until Monday (when i'd contact the Head of Customer Support etc) and the automated process from Digital River appears to be the cause of this. I know it's frustrating... flaming annoying and a real mess up. As Digital River are responsible for online sales I'm sure CyberLink aren't pleased you're having this hassle. It reflects badly upon them.

Dawn: The same as above hang in there. Voice support is a paid for service. A download link is provided in an email to you along with the activation key.

Dave: Please jump back to your post and do a follow up.... yours isn't the same issue as the originator of this posting. http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/15/3819.page#15171

bchandler78 & Dawn, Sorry I cant do anything for you at this time... weekend etc.

Right, it's 9pm with me... and I'll sign off now. I've had a great weekend so far, got most of my tasks done and did some videoing... I just popped on here for a second.

I have sent an urgent email off to the Head of Customer Support - it'll be seen on Monday Morning (Taipei) - that's 8 hours ahead of me and 13 hours ahead of the US East coast.

Thanks for your help dave.

While I did get some sort of email saying I needed to register with a link, my online cd - key still says 0. SO I am very interested in seeing how this gets handled. No matter what, there is nowhere to "Download" my product, whether in an email or online.

I am experiencing the same issue as the OP.

Per CyberLink's knowledge base " After you successfully place an order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail within an hour. The e-mail includes the link to download the purchased product and a key to activate/install the software if you purchase the Download version."

I've submitted a ticket with no response. Do I need to call my credit card and report CyberLink for fraud and issue a charge back?

Crystal, this is either an issue with the Online purchase company - Digital River OR it could be to do with your own email delivery set up.

Some companies such as Comcast, Bellsouth and ATT for example actually block legitimate emails without informing their clients and catergorise them as spam email just by the contents. This could have happened here since the issue appears to be only affecting a few.

Please contact your email company as well to check.

I'm only speculating on possible causes.

CyberLink do NOT carry out fraudulent actions and they will once proof of purchase is provided to them (even the data from your credit card transaction is tracable) resolve the situation speedily.

Dawn

Right, I'm off to finish making my Apple Scraterer.

Well, I somewhat agree with the e-mail thing, but if that is true and it was automaticaly deleted by a spam blocker, how would I go about getting another e-mail sent. It is impossible to talk to someone (other than you of course) that can help.

And I have registered the product (supposedly). I had an e-mail with a very long code in the address, and the program shows up in my registered programs, but it doesnt have a cd key. Also, when I look at my order status it says:

CyberLink PowerDirector 7 Deluxe (Download version)
Processing serial number or unlock code.

My registration key page says:
My Product(s) Version Channel CD-Keys Registration Date
PowerDirector 7 Retail 0 2008-10-04

SO I DONT THINK THAT IT IS SOMETHING THAT I MISSED, BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO GO ABOUT GETTING IT REMEDIED WITHOUT SPENDING ANOTHER 30.00.

Dafydd -

I was so frustrated when I last posted that I forgot to mention I did receive a confirmation email - so no, it is not my email settings. The email, like the OP, did not contain a link to download my software or an activation key.

I purchased software that I can not download. The money has been taken out of my account. The only way I can speak with a customer service representative is to spend an additional 30.00$. I still have not heard back from help desk.

At this point, I do feel like a victim of fraud.
