From this Forum, I found that the problem was caused by issues with the nVidia drivers for my graphics card. By making the changes suggested in the article, my problem was resolved. This week, I had another nVidia update to Ver. 331.65 and the problem returned.
I tried to do a driver roll-back via the Control Panel, but Option is "Greyed Out". I have also tried to install an earlier nVidia driver, but this fails as "A later version is already installed".
Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I might try next. If all else fails. I would consider purchasing the latest version of PD, but I would like to be sure that this issue has been well and truly solved in the later versions, and I wouldn't have this hassle every time I update my video driver.
My system details are as follows:-
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
GeForce GT 440 graphics Card 1Gb video RAM
CPU Intel i7-3300
RAM 12Gb DDR3
M/B Gigabyte X58AUD3R
