Bug: Pausing powerdvd mutes system sound

Ok I got it to work now. What I did to make the system audio work while the video was paused is by going into the settings for my powerdvd ultra 13. Then to Player Settings -> Video, Audio, Subtitles-> and click on More audio Settings

I changed the output mode from stereo (which had the problem) to Dolby Headphone and there was no problem with the pausing after that however the sound was more of a echo type. If I change it back to stereo the problem returns. If I use true theatre I don't get the same problem either.

Stereo pause bug info:

I hope maybe you could create a program which could take this information automatically rather then manually collecting it. Please see attached DXDIAG and BD Advisor (I have removed my pc system name from the logs).

I did a google search for a problem I was having and found this thread because it's the same problem I'm having. I want to raise this thread back from the dead because after 4 years they STILL haven't fixed this problem.
