Hi, I am new to the program but I was trying to work on a home movie and when I was transferring it to the hard drive I got a message after it copied 2.3gb on the hard drive that my move was right protected.
It is a home movie from my camcorder.

Can some one help me with this.
Thanks
Chris

I presume you have Admin rights and using it as the admin.

Bad - no... just haven't come across it before in XP etc.

Transferring it from where to where? If you have a file open you are aware you cant transfer the file aren't you?

Here's a standard suggestion:

Hi am just doing a copy of a home movie. I just start thier capture and it go's for about 1.5gb and then stops recording and ask me for a file name were to save, I give it one and then it tells me that my tape is coy protected. This was my second try at it the first time it went longer.

Chris,

You need to give to receive.... please read the following post where indicated.

PART D, E, F and H

I honestly don't know what you have or where you're capturing from. For example "tape" - what tape, type, camera.....? I don't need to guess this info. File transfer type...?

My brain is NOT reverse compatible and I'm using PowerDirector 6 v2319 on one of my computers.
