Audio keeps playing, when video's paused

Hi!
I have a problem...
I'm working on a music video, so I have some clips and some music, that I "put together", but, the point is, the music will ONLY work correctly, when I play the video from the beginning.
I can't just start in the middle, cause then the music is from the end, or the start, or well... Not from the right place!
I have a theory, that the music may just keep going, when I'm pausing the video, and then when I start it again, the music just play from where ever it is...
BUT!
I'm not sure about that theory...
Anybody who can help me? Please?

Ohhh, and btw. I've tried to move the audio, so it would be like "the videos original sound", and I've tried lock and unlock, but it isn't helping...

Your audio clips, are they MP3?

If so convert the MP3 files to WAV. Try WAV instead.

Tell me if you edit the sound does all the power tool options, trim options etc, all disappear and become unavailable?

If they do, is this normal? Thanks, George

Here is a link to a possible solution for the disappearance of the options. Solution written by Cranston. I don't think it is "Normal", and the issue has been reported to Cyberlink but has not been corrected. Maybe this occurs by design. Not sure really.

Thank you very much - that should save me a lot of work. It's a glitch which hopefully they are working on.

Thanks again. Thanks, George
