Windows 8 RTW Release
[Post New]
So who else has a valid copy of Windows 8 RTW/RTM from TechNet or MSDN? How is PowerDVD working for you? I've tried and I hear audio but there is no video. Since it is not the Metro/Windows 8 Experience, then it is trying to run as a desktop style app. I've even tried to get it to run under Windows 7 compatibility and I have the same issue.

I've contacted support and they said to wait for their Metro offer since Windows 8 is still not finished. I responded back and ensured them that Windows 8 is finished as of August 15. Best Wishes,
Keith

Just curious here. Windows 8 is still beta. I would use it yet. There's a strong possibility that we we redo everything.

As hitek says, Windows 8 is RTW/RTM

RTW -Releaes to web (distribution)

RTM - Release to manufacturing. (Make the discs and boxes).

There may be some changes but it is essentially finished. I think ca Oct 26 is the day it is officially released. .
