I have download and installed PowerDVD 12 v2118 on on windows 8
in basic driver PowerDVD 12 lunching after installing Intel 945 Chipset Display Driver 8.15.10.2548 for Windows 8 x64 its lunching/running only black screen. Every I have done but not working.

The Windows 8 guarantee sounds good. I hope they'll stand by their word and fix the ISO-file on virtual drive issue. This workes on windows 7 and with PowerDVD 11.

I find that since upgrading to windows 8.1 i get flash frames when watching any 1080i blurays. The latest patch does not sort this. Anyone else know what my problem could be?

Hi,

Ive been having a lot of trouble and I'm wondering if anyone knows the solution. My powerdvd version 12 stopped working. It will not play. It only opens to the AACS file etc. I downloaded free trial versions of other blu ray software and it's not my drive. All my drivers are up to date etc. Im running windows 8 and never used to have a problem. Any ideas?

P.S. I've been trying to find a solution on in the troubleshooting and have not found so far the exact issue I'm experiencing. I don't get an error code. Just nothing will open.

THe issue for some of us is this. We had power dvd 10 and 11 ultra, and paid to upgrade to 12 ultra, we can't istall power dvd 10 to run the power dvd 12 installs of updates for us that are now on windows 8.1.

Hi I recently purchased a new Acer laptop with the PowerDVD and Windows 8.1 and it was working fine. Today I cannot hear the audio. My settings are fine on my laptop and in the program. I cannot figure out why I cannot hear anything. Does anyone know what this could be?
