I have had questions before, about the
"Capture", which resolved itself by
recording "what you hear" through the
computer onto the capture setting. (
don't know if this was the easiest way,
certainly was not the quickest way, but
it worked)
Now I'm struggling with the audio editing.
In the beginning I had 2 clips ( about
23 in the entire video), which I muted
and have captured .wma files in the
music slot.
Then I get to where I want the video to
take over the "natural sound", I use the
mixer... I turn down the music, and turn
up the video. This mixig style goes on
for about an hour into the video,
thinking that I have mixed voice, music
and video audio perfectly into my movie,
only to find out that whatever I last
did, stays throughout the entire video!
If I mute the first Video-clip, ALL the
video clips are muted, if I turn up the
Music, ALL music in the entire video
drown out whatever I had mixed over.
I am to the point where I capture the
entire 4 hour wedding so I can use the
audio of the wedding in either the voice
or the music bar and match it to the
video ( no fun I can assure you of
that), but now I'm fining that even in
the first clip of the video, and the
first clip of the audio, when matched up
( like lipsync), the audio matches for a
few minutes, then it starts lagging
behind, I am to the point where I am
tearing my hair out.... please help. I
want to get this right, without having
to match "lipsync"
Why is my mute and mixing not working in
the first place? I read all the help
about audio, and am following it, but to
no avail.
BTW ( I can not find the "speed" control
as mentioned in the help file in my
version 1.5 ( came with the camera when
I purchased it.
P.S am I correct in assuming that to
redo this video for viewing in Germany I
need the 'PAL' and for the USA the NTSC?
