PowerDVD 12 failed hard. Wanted to watch In Time tonight with my wife. PowerDVD 11 couldn't play it so i upgraded. Got everything good to go and it loads the movie then locks up. Nice job wasting a night with my wife. Compensation better be given for your failure and non notification to the general public downloading your "pricey" video player software is currently BROKEN. ggkkthxbai.

Not that I am standing up for Cyberlink, but it may be the movie. It is heavily copy protected and DVD12 may not be up to the task. I made some ISO files of it and they were unplayable.

Try installing a trial of TMT and see if that will save your evening. Here is the latest version, make sure and have the software disable Windows Aero.

It's definitely the player. Prior to purchasing and isntalling the upgrade to PowerDVD 12 Ultra, I was watching a Blueray disc (Mysteries of Lisbon) using PowerDVD 11 Ultra. Version 12 won't play it. Neither will it play DIVX or Xvid files that previously worked without issue in version 11. MKV files do work as before. A very disappointing upgrade much in need of an update patch.

Thanks though for stopping by...

I would like to unbash a little. Played Captain America just fine. Got your Refresh rate thing though... wasn't happy. but w/e. So the brand new releases it seem aren't going to play on PDVD12...

The BD is Mysteries of Lisbon, region A.

I've attached the DXDIAG file

The only info I could find about BD advisor report log was in relation to 3D playback, which doesn't apply to me. For some reason the same disc played fine in PowerDVD 11 Ultra.
