That dxdiag file is a part of Direct X, have you tried to re-install Direct X? HP Envy 17

I did a re-install of Direct x no result.

This is the service ticket number CS001097345 , no result via the service.

i can't import MP3, MP4 etc...

HELP STILL NEEDED! I'm desperate....

Your "ticket" and issue are now being dealt with (by CyberLink, Head Office, Customer Support) and you should be contacted asap (that's what I've been informed).

When i try to insert WAV and MP3 audio files in my PD10 (latest build on Windows 7 64-bit)

I get an error that PD doesn't find the correct codecs.

I can play the WAV's and MP3's perfectly in Wave editor or other programs.

When i put MP4 video files in my tracks , they play correctly, when i split the video from the audio and only play the audio, i get the same error, lack of codec filters

Try TechSmith Screen Capture Codec (TSCC) for informaton.

I tried the TechSmith Screen Capture Codec, but this didn't give any result. I think there is a bug in the PD10 64-but latest build.

i have an issue with audio on mine, it's just a high screeching noise, it is really annoying

What format is the audio? or are you talking about the audio associated with the video track?

it is Wav and yes it is recorded with fraps. but it used to work, and then suddenly one day it wouldent. you can see my thread here http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/0/21089.page#111969

Ah - I missed that other thread. So - it was working fine in PD & not it's not???

Does FRAPS record a separate audio track? or is it associated with the video file?

I really don't know why it would suddenly be producing a screeching sound in PD. If there's nothing in the FRAPS setting that you can adjust to make it work with PD, I can only echo Barry's suggestion in the other thread to run it through a reliable converter. Convert it to the same format it's in (AVI?)

it worked fine, then suddenly it dident
Fraps records an avi with wav sound, in one track
and theres nothing changed in fraps

Maybe there are different versions of FRAPS.

I'm just using the freebie... 3.4.7 Build 13809... and it records in AVI format using PCM audio codec. I posted the MediaInfo report from a test file here http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/21089.page#112092

Have you tried simply re-installing FRAPS?

Please get MediaInfo & post a report on one of your problem FRAPS clips... http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en

i will try to reinstall fraps

because there was no technical support for my problem, I decided to format my HD and reinstall everything from scratch. After installing PD 10, PD 10 asked me to activate some components. This is the first time i see that things need to be activated in PD 10. Maybe the activation of the components of my previous installation was wrong, so after a time the components didn't work anymore.

The only problem i still have, is that i lost all my installed content packs and smart sounds. Does anybody know how i can get back my content packs and smartsounds?

To bad the support of PD 10 didn't had a work arround for the activation of the components.

I Think i have the same problem, Because something did pop up the first time, but i really can't format my harddrive,
