I just purchased Power Director 10 Ultra. I just created a video and produce a file using the Ipod/Ipad format which is mpeg4. Now, I can watch the clip on my PC with sound with no problem. However, once I import to my Ipod, I just get video, no audio. Also I hook up the Ipod to my PC and try to play the file this way, no sound also. Any idea why this is happening?

Did you try the special ipod settings in Produce?

Produce > device tab > Apple > Profile type, iPod/iPhone

It would be exactly the same problem as this http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/20646.page#109742

Using the Device > Apple > iPhone/iPod setting doesn't work in PD10 (no audio). The 1129b patch has the same problem.

Cheers - Tony

I used Format Factory to recreate the file in MP4 and import the file on my IPod and it works fine with audio. It's stupid that I have to use another program in order to make something work. I always had problems when I decide to buy Cyberlink Powerdirector. The last one I bought was 5 until I saw this one. I wonder if I should return this version and go puchase version 9 or wait and see if Cyberlink comes out with a patch to correct this problem. You think by now they would test everything properly before releasing. Especially if something was working good in the old software and now breaks in the new version? That's crazy!

Kind regards,

Steven
