Yep Bubba - 64-bit

One test I did with 4 Core Foundations tracks produced an 18MB colour board with no sound at all!

The mystery here is that - by re-ordering the tracks - the output changes. Tracks that didn't "play" do, & vice versa. Like I said - inconsistent. If my car behaves inconsistently, I say it doesn't work.

Still - I'm really pleased to hear that it's still working on your set up.

Cheers - Tony

Thank you for such excellent testing. I've taken screenshots of this thread and will pass the results to CyberLink

Issue 188 is still ongoing.

I am finding that although my files are now properly sorted, the introduction of Smartsound to the timeline is bringing my project to a grinding halt and subsequent crash, I even have my video preview set to lowest quality to help. This is on my DV7t.
It's utterly useless, for me anyway. Anyone else having issues?

Hello everyone. I have to confirm Tony's findings of inconsistent behaviour with SS in PD9, Build 2930. Yesterday I had issues with an SS clip that I purchased - tried to create a 52-second duration of Once Upon a Midnight Clear for Christmas home movies converted to .mepg2. No sound. Tried to produce just the SS clip within PD9 as a .wav file. No sound. On a previous project, as I reported, some clips worked and some didn't. Pavane, which was/is free, worked, that time. Go figure.

Any ways, as we all already know, there are still issues with PD9's implementation of SS. Thankfully I bit the bullet a few weeks ago and purchased Sonicfire Pro 5, so I can export SS clips from there in .wav format of the appropriate duration. Takes a bit more time, but at least the production is reliable, ... at least so far ...

Have a great day, despite PD9's SS "eccentricities!"
