I know it is a lot of patches, but for me it is much better than none. Although I must say I have had no problems with PD9 other than the artefacts with the latest Nvidia driver which may be PD or Nvidia. Will see after I install this patch from PD. Downloading it now. I haven't really had any problems, but it reports to solve several issues that I have been seeing here in the forums. __________________________________

Hi Neil,

No it doesn't fix the artefacts problem when using hardware acceleration when producing your video.

I don't know if the latest beta drivers from Nvidia fix the problem or not, I will try them when they are officially released.

EDIT===== I installed the 266.58 Nvidia drivers to do the test. I was going to re-install the 260.99 drivers again which do work successfully but I am not going to bother as everything works fine if I don't use the hardware acceleration when producing and honestly on my pretty powerful machine it doesn't make all that much difference.

I seem to be stuck at 83.6 out of 87.4 megabytes. There must be loads of folks downloading.

EDIT: I had to switch to a downloader.
Cuda is not greyed-out anymore with the latest Nvidia beta, however, it seems "video denoise" is not working, at least on the preview. 2nd edit: De-noise does work, but not so well, maybe it's my clip. I will look at this more.

Updates:
- Adds support for the latest NVIDIA CUDA setup kit drivers, version 3.2.
- Enhances the Blu-ray Disc burning engine.

Issues resolved:
- Users cannot manually extend the length of trimmed video clips on timeline.
- CyberLink PowerDirector pops up a "Not enough system memory" error message when producing projects that use the Gaussian blur
effect.
- Users cannot produce H.264 AVC video in 50p.
- Clips that were muted on the timeline are no longer muted when the project is saved and then reopened.
- Captured snapshots from AVCHD (.m2ts) video files on the timeline have an image size of 0 KB.

This patch adds the option to let a user create BD folder when burning BD. It may take more time, but it'll have more stability when burning BD.

A number of bug fixes have also been attended to, including SVRT.
Thanks
Dafydd

Thanks Dafydd

I'm glad i Purchased this software now, Wheather Cyberlink intended to fix the bad quality output bug or
just fixed it as a side effect from fixing something else. I'm really grateful..

All my Projects that produced Poor Full HD output when importing High Res Images have been completely fixed.

Well Done Cyberlink,,

Just Don't break it. Please..

SVRT still does not seem to work with Cannon 24 Mb/s AVCHD 1080i video. I took two clips back to back and created two splits on one of them. I then applied an effect in the small section created by the splits. The SVRT window indicates that only the area with the applied effect required 100% rendering and nothing else. Upon creating the video, SVRT worked for the section up to the applied effect and everything after until the end of the video was rerendered even though the SVRT window indicated otherwise.

The good news is that I didn't see any obvious rendering errors. Q9300 2.5 GHz

An update to my previous message. I realized that I forgot to recheck the allow SVRT under the produce tab in preferences after installing the patch. I redid my test and SVRT does indeed work with my Cannon video.

James, That is good news. That may be the news I've been waiting for in order for me to begin using PD-9 on a regular basis. However, my love affair with PD-8 is very intense and it may not appreciate being dumped. The best thing about PD is the people in the Forums !!!

In case no one noticed the hardware acceleration options in the preferences section is still being ignored on the production page. If you have a graphics card with a working GPU the hardware option is activated regardless. Win 10, i7

Depending on how you are using release 2316 you may or may not see any differences. However, a large number of bugs have been fixed since the original release (2316) so it's a matter of time before you'll run into one of them. You can always return to the original release by re-loading PD9 if it does not do the job for you. 2702 appears more stable. Win 10, i7

When you install a patch, does it clear out any downloaded menus or files. Do you have to uninstall and reinstall the program. Every program is different and I just wanted to know if there is anything I should do before installing the update.
