I've been in search of a NLE that will support, output, and smart render the 1080/50p clips from the Pana TM700 series camcorder and it looks like PD9-64bit "may" be the answer. I've been playing with the trial and before I purchase it I have some observations that I would love an old hand to comment on

to see if I have got the correct end of the stick:
1) I could setup a Custom Profile very similar to that of the original file (Video Bit rate seems lower), but
2) When checking SVRT it said it would be able to Smart Render all but the short segments with transitions, titles etc (as you would expect), but
3) When useing the Custom Profile I would get SVRT up till the first transition (V.quick) unfortunatly, it would then render from then on till the end of the project (eg it would not go back into SVRT after the 10 sec transition/title sequence).
I can no longer test as my projects are now being watermarked as a Cyberlink Trial from 00:00 so smart rendering now never starts and would like to know if this is a limitation of the Trial, a Bug, or just how SVRT works in PD9
Thanks
Nathan
FYI, The following is a comparision of an original Pana file Vs one created by PD9.
