Hello,

I am making a video out of photos with PD8 Ultra. My system is a new pc from Cyberpower that has the following: Win 7 64 bit, Intel i5 CPU 650@3.2GHz 3.19GHz, RAM 4.0 GB. My problem I need help with is that occassionally (not every time, and only occurs after working on project for several hours) while editing by creating slideshows or dragging and dropping photos to the timeline I get an error message pop up and say there has been an error and Windows will have to close (NO ERROR CODES GIVEN, and I don't know where if it is logged someone to find it). However when I turn system off and back on I get 2 RUNDLL errors. 1) C:\Users\AJJMH\AppData\Local\KBDWs327.dll and 2) C:\Users\AJJMH\AppData\Local\orucaqaf.dll

I have tried to search the internet for info on these errors but come up with nothing. The only program I have noticed that is ever effected is PD8 - affected by it closing. Is there a chance that these 2 errors are part of the workings of PD8? Should I delete and reinstall the program or perform a fix to it (assuming that is possible)? Any thoughts on these errors? Unfortunately I have not been able to isolate the exact order I am doing things when it occurs as it generally occurs after I have been working with PD8 for hours.

I appologize now if I have posted in the wrong place. I have searched and could not find anything that came close to these two issues so I decided to just ask. I appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Avona.

Hi Avona,

I Googled the specific dll you referenced and found a topic in another forum you might be interested in. The person listed the identical dll's you specified and the user also has a PC from Cyber Power.

I am in the process of reading it....but thought I would post this for you to read as well.

I went to the bottom...occasionally you find the answer...it was a lengthy topic. It might be related to spyware or malware. This post was on September 2nd...so there hasn't been a response yet....so no real answer as of yet.

Have a look at my attachment of the final entry in the topic:

LOL Cap n Kevin, LOL that was me posting to the website of a program (registry fix program) that I bought thinking it would help identify the problem. I ended up restoring all the fixes I had and got rid of the problem it created which was not recognizing my mouse and keyboard until I unplugged them and plugged them back in. That sight seemed more interested in the fact that I was posting in the wrong spot, and not very helpful thus far. Still, I keep watching it just incase they come up with something worthwhile. I already have a antispyware program but I might just try another to double check.

I do think it is pretty alarming that we have all paid close to $100 or more for this program and yet there seem to be as many issues with it as I read about. I am just hoping they are mostly user errors as I really like the things the tutorials show I can do with it. Can't wait until I have a bit more experience under my belt.

Thanks,
Avona

Well Well Well,

That has to be the funniest thing that happened to me today...well my kids have handfuls of crayons right now so that might change....it all depends!!! Who would of thought that the only reference I could find was made by YOU!!

Well anyways....I am sure a solution will be found.

More people will read this topic in the forum and hopefully some more solutions will rise to the surface.

I still can't stop laughing....

Kevin

THANK GOD, THIS HAS BEEN SOLVED!

Re: Two RUNdll errors
by siliconman01 on Sat Sep 04, 2010 4:25 pm

Okay, please do this:

1. Run another Hijackthis scan. When the scan is completed, place a checkmark in the box next to the following items. BE SURE that these are the only items that are checkmarked.

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Lduretiyogovi] rundll32.exe "C:\Users\AJJMH\AppData\Local\KBDWs327.dll",Startup

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Kgawoqiwuhu] rundll32.exe "C:\Users\AJJMH\AppData\Local\orucoqaf.dll",Startup

2. Click on Fix Checked which is at the lower left of the Hijackthis windows.

3. Confirm that you want HJT to fix these items and let it fix them.

4. Close HJT and reboot

You should no longer get the 2 Rundll errors on system reboot.

There are two other 04 entries that I am suspicious of. They are:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ukqrnkjt] C:\Users\AJJMH\AppData\Local\lumhdbavl\dwepljxtssd.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [swqjpkie] C:\Users\AJJMH\AppData\Local\acyyfrjpn\dnlmdattssd.exe

Please make all files and folders visible on your computer via the instructions in the link below

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutoria ... al151.html

Would you please perform a SEARCH on your C drive and see if files dwepljxtssd.exe and
dnlmdattssd.exe exist on your computer.

Also do have solid state disk drives on your computer?

It looks to me like your Windows 7 x64 system was infected with Antispyware Soft which is described in the link below. McAfee must have detected and quarantined this nasty.

THANK YOU ALL.

Great News...

Now the question is...will this eliminate PD8 from crashing?

Let us know if you could.
