Do I need to uninstall PD19 before installing PD21?

I have PD19 and all of the effects packs, etc., currently installed. Do I need to uninstall all of that before installing PD21 and all of its effects packs, etc.?

Assuming you are talking perpetual key, no, you’re better off not to uninstall.

Also remember you will lose all ProDAD, NewBlue,.... features in PD21 if you used those in your projects.

Thanks, Jeff. Yes, I have the perpetual key. But if I keep PD19, then my older projects, which may use ProDAD or NewBlue, will still be available if I only work with them in PD19? Just avoid trying to work with them in PD21, is that correct?

Yes.

If you work with them in PD21 and save they won't open in PD19 without manual user intervention in the pds file which is not desirable.
