Audio Renders but Video Does Not

I've been filming a number of videos on my Pixel phone (MP4) and then bringing them over to PowerDirector to stitch together. I've done this a few times successfully already, but I'm having an issue with my current video. I recorded two videos on my phone, one short and one long, and stiched them together. The preview shows both audio and video. But when I render the video to put on YouTube, I get a black screen with audio. I've started the project over again a few times, and the result persists. As I'm not doing anything complicated with the video other than sticthing two source videos together, I have no idea what could possilby be wrong when it worked before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since it works for you sometimes and not others, it's could be highly variable framerate source video common in phones. PD has been shown to have multiple random issues with such source.

You might try, pref > Hardware Acceleration and make sure the decoding option is not selected. Likewise, on "Produce" tab, make sure no hardware rendering is used. If that does not work, try converting your source phone clips with like HandBrake to a constant framerate of similar quality in a basic H.264 container and see if editing that footage in PD remedies your issue.
