I installed PowerDVD10 Ultra (Windows 7 x64 Home Premium).
At the end of the installation, my registration number was asked I filled it successfully. The problem is that when I try to launch the software nothing happens (not even an error code!).

Does someone has the same problem?

Hi Michael,

You proposed me your kind help and I wouldn't like to "stress" you, but you still didn't answerd to my last post.

Just tell me if you can do something to fix my problem or not.

I asked for the "official" Cyberlink support too, but I get no answer either from them. I'm very disappointed with Cyberlink.

If nobody have a solution to this, I will ask for a refund. I cannot keep a software which doesnt' work at all!

Once more, thank you for your kind help.

I have exactly the same problem.
Windows 7 X86 Home Premium;
ATI 5870/Catalyst 10.3a DX11;
Norton 360;
Nothing happened after the launch, but I could find powerdvdserver.exe run in background.

I tried the same software on my XP machine, everything works fine then.

I have the same problem in PowerDVD 9 & 10. My problem is related to the fact that I'm trying to use only the onboard high def audio chip that is on my ATI 5670. Apparently PowerDVD does not like that high def audio chip. When I enable the realtek chip on my motherboard, PowerDVD runs normally. Problem with that scenario is that I'm using HDMI out of the video card for audio & video and when booting Windows, the audio chip on the video card shows up 'unplugged' in the Sound applet of Control Panel. The only way to fix that issue is to disable & re-enable the device using Device Manager which is very annoying.
