The detailed issue description
During a patch to PowerDVD9 Ultra the sound output quit, was informed it was a known issue with Dell XPS420. A patch was release earlier this year that partially corrected sound output but only out of the center channel and it was tiny. Installed upgrade to PowerDVD10 sound is still tiny out of only center channel. Sound is only a problem during DVD and BD playback, files sound fine and play through all speaker channels. I am using the 5.1 analog output of the soundcard. All other software has no issues with soundcard.
I have the same issue with a Dell XPS420, support says its a know issue with the update.

How do you go back to the default Win 7 sound drivers?
