SOLVED IT!
I have finally sorted it. Strangely all I did was take the first clip that was out of sync, split it in two and then seperate the audio from the video from the second piece of it. The whole video just fell into sync. Very odd.
Thanks for your help Dafydd and evryone else too. Much appreciated!

Ok,
1. Not sure what happened to the files I uploaded I'll try again.
2. When the window pops up it just says PowerDirector Ultra 8.00.2220
3. Sorry to confuse everyone with "A level" I should have realised this is a US based forum. It's basically a very important qualification I need to move up to university - I believe they call it college over there?
-
7. I have altered the rubber band in places simply to fade out but I have not done this on the clip where the audio begins to go out of sync.
8. I can't find anything that says frame size. Could you give a more detailed instruction how to find it please?
9. I intend to ultimately burn the film to 4.7GB DVD (Dunno if AVI is suitable for that).
I will now take a look at those videos and try your previous instructions.

Gosh that's a lot of information to take in at once right well, I'll try to answer all of your questions.
First off I have now run CCleaner and Defraggler but I don't know how to re-render the video, forgive I'm not familiar with this term.
The source videos are in .MOD file format and I have been converting them to .AVI. I dunno if that's the best way to do it but I've always used .AVI and never had trouble with sync before so it can't be that. Plus the preview is out of sync as well as the produced file.
For the most part the audio has not been split from the video however in just one scene, the audio is in the voice track as I had to cut out some curse words and add a bleep censor in the music track. The curious thing is this scene is all in perfect sync.
The movie is indeed in UK PAL format. It's in 4:3 and as I said before is .MOD files which I imported from a Panasonic SDR-S26 camera. EDIT: It's not HD.
Part A: PowerDirector 8 Ultra
Part B: See Attached File
Part E/F: See Attached File

Right I'm an A level student who's just finished editing a film for my media coursework. I've got half an hour of footage and it's taken me ages to edit it all and get the film exactly how I want it. My deadline is this Friday and I thought brilliant I've finished a couple of days early! But there's a problem. The audio is like a second out of sync! AARGH! When I have been watching the video in the preview window whilst editing it was fine. Then as I started more and more clips the video and audio seemed to be coming out of sync. The audio is not something I have added it is the sudio from the original clip I imported so I assumed it was just an issue with my computer struggling to process it all. But when I produce the movie and play it back, it's still out of sync. I just don't understand it, can anyone help?
