Its been a while sinse i've had this error, unfortunately I never got the right answer, but I did recently install Windows 7 64bit. Now there aren't any issues! so you can ignore me from this thread now..
Well I did think that, but I run some testing methods on it and it worked flawlessly on most other stuff.

I use it to install stuff to the PC, burn CDs and DVDs and use it to play DVDs with different programs such as VLC media player and it works perfectly for all this.

But when it comes to Pdvd9 for Bluray it skips every minute or so, a few frames ahead, sorry for the poor explanation its quite confusing hehe.. a bit like this

Movie play time :: 1 minute 40 seconds in (example)

1:40
1:41
1:42
1:46
1:47
1:48
1:49....

I spent 3 hours last night trying to figure it out, driving me insane now

Though I think I may have a bit of info to help.. I played a normal DVD instead, that also skipped but it only did it every 3-5 minutes instead of 1 minute or less like the Bluray.

Also, I have several Blu-ray movies and they all used to work flawlessly before this started happening, now it happens on all the movies too + tested on a PS3 so the Movies are fine.
Also.. I have updated to the latest graphics drivers, Sound drivers and on Service pack 3 with all latest updates.
Hey,

I have Powerdvd 9 Ultra, i've been using Powerdvd for several months and a good while on the new ultra version.

I've had a blu ray drive for a long time and blu-ray and HDdvds have been playing perfectly with no issues at all.

Recently, Blu-ray films have been skipping, every minute or so, the movie skips forward a few frames. Now I have absolutely no clew how this started happening, i've changed numerous settings/reinstalled the programs and used a different version of Powerdvd, and it always keeps skipping when I watch blu-ray.

PC specs:
WinXP
Q6600 Quad Core CPU
4GB 1066Mhz RAM
8800GTS 512MB
X-Fi Titanium Pro
Samsung 1TB 7200RPM HDD

BluRay drive :: LG GGW-H20L

I really don't want to have to resort to a PC format... Please help
