I installed PowerDVD 10 for the first time just now. First it wouldn't even start because I had disabled my on board Realtek HDsoundcard (which I don't use), but it started once I enabled it. Now when I try tp play a Blu-ray disc PowerDVD asks me to select a region twice, then presents an "internal error code:800401F9"-message. I just installed 8 now, then upgraded to 10. I'm going to try reinstalling now, so I'll be disappointed if I'm told to uninstall and reinstall yet again.
PowerDVD 10 Mark II Version 10.0.1830.51
SR: DVD100611-07
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32 Bit - Norwegian language
Audio: HDMI PCM via the video card (tried to select SPDIF in the config but there was no difference)
Video: Sapphire Radeon HD 5450 512MB DDR2 via HDMI
Single monitor
No AV software
PDVD 7.3 works
Total Media Theatre 3 works
I tried installing it on my other PC just to test, and it will start playing a BD there.
EDIT:
It works now after the reinstallation. the only thing I did different this time was that I tried playing a movie in PDVD 8 before I installed version 10. I don't know if it makes any difference, but the previous time I didn't even start V8.

Any solution to this? I have the same problem. It won't start at all, just briefly appears in the tast manager.
Windows 7 32 bit
ATI 5450
1 GB ram
EDIT:
My Realtek on board HD soundcard is disabled as I use HDMI sound with ATI HDMI drivers.
Enabling Realtek fixed it.
