Hi there.
Please excuse my unfamiliarity with the Cyberlink s/w I'm a prospective buyer.

I can't find a forum for a PC version of Action Director - I assume it's now called Power Director??

I've just received a very old bundled version of the Action Director s/w with a Samsung Gear360(2017) camera and the Cyberlink s/w actually does an EXCELLENT job of stitching the footage and turning it into 360 degree panoramas.

Unfortunately the 5 year old s/w required a registry hack to get it to install at all, and is also really patchy with modern video drivers... (preview is mostly broken) It works far better on an old Windows 7 machine than a nice new fast windows 10 beast..

But the 360 degree footage stitching is actually VERY GOOD. [Surprisingly good in fact].
So I'd be very interested in buying the modern version of the software if I knew what it was called now and that it definitely still supported footage from this sort of camera.

The cameras produce double fisheye footage that neeeds to be transformed to equirectangular format before then being properly stitched to 360 panoramic for viewing in VR goggles. And the old Cyberlink s/w could do that rather well.

I looked through the manuals for half a dozen of the current products and searched for 'gear360' 'fisheye' and similar terms but couldn't find an answer.

If anybody knows whether any CYBERLINK s/w which is Current and Supported, (so can be expected to work with modern graphics cards etc) will do the same job as the old Action Director on the doubleFisheye footage from this little camera , and output 360 degree panoramas that I can view in my VR goggles then I'd be delighted to hear from you to know what I should look at buying laughing.

Perhaps you are doing the same sort of thing?

anyway I hope that someone may help me,

Thank you for your patience and time.
