No problem, I found out how to do it:

Change these registry keys:

HKLM\Software\Cyberlink\PowerDVD9

EnableMovieLibrary
EnableMovieRemix

to 0.

Rename the file 2cMovie.dll in the powerdvd 9 directory to something else (like .old) and no more moooooovie.

Also managed to create a skin to remove the grinning woman from the splash screen.

Much better now...

Can someone tell me how to remove the moovielive screen from power dvd 9 ultra when it starts up?

I don't use it and it looks a bit rubbish to have that login screen display every time it starts, especially since I'm not using it.

I don't really expect to be bombarded with adware in a £60 piece of software.
