I am trying to capture from VHS tape using the Dazzle DVD Recorder USB device. i can view the video in the PowerDirector v7 capture window and can hear the audio just fine. But, when I try to record the video, the video being shown in the capture window freezes and the frame drop starts counting up. The audio, however, keeps recording. I saved one of the clips captured this way and sure enough, it is audio only.
I thought this might be an isolated incident, but it has happened with 4 video tapes I have tried recording so it appears to be a systematic issue. I am running 64-bit Vista w/8 Gigs of RAM.
Any ideas?
