This seems a silly question, but what's the best way to update my drivers? Do I it via Control Panel, System and Device Manager?

I installed the patch for PD6 last night, and it made no difference.
My PC is less than a month old, and is up to date with Vista.
Every time I try to place video footage on my workspace, PD6 closes.
If only there was one-to-one help available (non-premium rate!).

HELP!
I'm using PD6 on a spanking newVista PC.
I started working on my first project and put some photos, music and titles on the workspace with no problem, but every time I add a video segment to it, PD6 crashes and has to close.
When I search the internet for an answer, I get a message saying that Cyberlink has no solution to the problem.
A video-editing package which won't let me edit video is not much good to me!
Can anyone offer any tips or solutions?
