Firstly 'Produce' your movie in MPEG 2 format then back in Edit/Timeline add Chapters for Menu.

The first 10% of the disc burn time is to build the Menu Template
- this is when crashing normally occurs.

It's the Menu's 'Motion Menu' feature causing the freeze ups.

To disable this: In Create Disc screen go to Create Disc Preferences
- it's the crossed spanner/screwdriver icon
Then go to Menu section and Dis-Enable Video Thumbnails
and watch it fly through the burn process !!
