Is there a way to prevent PD7 from re-creating a desktop shortcut everytime it starts up (if the shortcut does not exist already)?

Yes, a relatively minor annoyance. This is the only software I have that does this and I would like to have the option of turning it OFF!!!

This same annoyance is happening with a new install of version 7. Any chance the patch works in version 7 as well and, if it does, how does one get the patch???
