Like tomasc wrote, packing the project is the best way to ensure that everything is available, and doing that will also include all the source clips for each project.
I made a test project with only FilmProjector on the timeline, so if you open the attached .PDS file in Notepad (or even better, Notepad++) you can see that there are 4 instances of PDR12_FilmProjector contained.
Two of them refer to the .png files, one is a subfolder name to be used if the project is packed, and the 4th is what might not be updated after browsing for the content as it refers to the PiP template (.cpt)
If you were to manually edit those 3 main folder entries with PD closed, everything should work when you open up the project.
Great! Packing the projects and then moving them to my new machine works.
Thanks guys!

Do you get a pop-up message with the option to browse for the missing content? I have 7 copies of PRD12_FilmProjector on my system in various folders, typically with names ending in \Templates\PowerDirector Content Pack Essential\PiPObject
Yes, it prompts to browse for png files. There are over 100 png files it is searching for. If I browse to the folder with all the files, it is satisfied that it found them, but I don't get a PiP object on the timeline, just the first png file.

I have projects done in PD20 that I have now moved to a new machine with PD365. When opening some of them, I get errors about missing objects. They all pertain to Content Packs I had on PD20. I can see that I also have them on PD365.
For example, I used the Film Projector PIP object. It is in PD365 but my project can't find it.
Do I need to copy objects from old versions when I upgrade?
