If this is not your issue, and there is any way you could copy the video file to your hard drive using USB hookup between the cam and computer, you should then be able to import it into PD as you would any compatible file already residing on your hard drive.

Thanks so much Bif. I hope that works. I will let you know tomorrow. I can't import directly from my camcorder. I have to put the mini dvd in my cd drive and import that way.

Hey guys,

I hope someone can help me with this subject. I recorded on a sony -RW mini DVD and when I tried to import into Power Director I received an error message saying there was no information on the DVD that was supported by Power Director. Can someone tell me how to get the video off that mini dvd so that I can burn a regular DVD. Also I used the RW + it download great.

Please HELP
