Are you by chance referencing your G drive as a UNC path, like \\MyBigDrive\Users\. That \\ UNC path even though it gets you to the same location is not the same as G:\MyBigDrive\Users\ path reference and they do not behave the same.

For a refund, part (e) of this may apply, https://www.cyberlink.com/support/faq-content.do?id=23696

Jeff

Thanks Jeff.
Quote You're free to uninstall everything and then choose a new folder/drive once you've got the permission issue sorted out. Some people have had success creating a new user account on Windows and everything works normally when logged in as the new user.

This is a total and complete nightmare. My C-Drive SSD is 110G and used solely for my OS. I only have 10G left on it. I have already lost a couple projects that I was working on as I have Uninstalled/Installed 7 times now in three days. Meanwhile on my G-Drive i have a Terabit of space waiting to be used.

I have gone in and changed all the permissions in each folder to no avail. i will try support after christmas, but so far, the hours of frustration is pushing me to the edge of giving up. Trying to learn PD19 is overwhelming as it is, and now to throw a technical issue on top of that........

I'm at a loss, and wish I could get my money back.
Quote Sounds like you've got Windows permission problems. Try choosing another folder and/or drive to save the content to. Google Windows folder permissions if you need help on making changes.

Thanks. Trying everything I can for the last hour. Still cant seem to get anything changed. It would have been MUCH simpler if CL had given people choice of drives BEFORE it installed. Second day of frustration.....
Quote If you have the subscription (365) version, you can also change the location for all packs by clicking on the gear icon in the App Manager and changing the installation path.

To change the location of previously installed packs, uninstall them by right-clicking on each of their names in the App Manager then install them again to the new folder.

I am having the same issue, however when I try to change the directory location, i get " The specific folder is invalid, incomplete or write protected"
