Please disregard my post - using VLC player, it shows only the time length of show 1. If you let it play through, it does in fact go to show 2.

Hey Everyone- Having a slight, probably newbie, issue here....
Scenario: I was asked to video a Dance Recital. There were 2 shows on Friday night, both under 30 minutes, both are able to fit onto a Single Layer DVD with no issues, therefore I would like to put both shows onto one DVD. I have done my edits for "show 1" in the "show 1" project and edits for "show 2" in the "show 2" project. My edits inlcude adding chapters at the start of each dance routine (about 10 dance routines/chapters for each show).
My first attempt at producing a DVD went like this...having the show 1 project open, I went to the create DVD menu, I imported the show 2 project. Everything looked great - The Root Menu allowed me the option of "Play All" and then I added a "Select Show" which took you to a menu to select your show (show 1 or show 2). If you then selected show 1 or show 2, you are presented with another menu to select which Chapter/Dance routine you would like to watch.
All this was great until I realized that by selecting "Play All" on the root menu, only played "Show 1". Once show 1 was done, it went back to the root menu.
From what I can tell, if I import the video clips into the "edit" menu and create a full "movie" with both shows, this would fix the "play all" issue stated above. Doing things this way, I do not see how I can create a "Show 1"/"Show 2" DVD menu option.

i have added a number of video clips to a project, done the editing and I am now ready to produce the DVD complete with chapters and menus. One problem: the total "size" of the final product appears to be larger than what will it onto one dvd. Is there a way in PD18 to, when creating the DVD, to fit the movie to one disk? (This was a feature I liked in the previous video editor that I had purchased in 2009). Thanks.
