Did you ever find out what the issue was? I've been having the same problem on multiple projects, at different times...even after trying on a different computer and after a fresh format....

Any help or advice would be appreciated as I have to get this project done by tomorrow but keep running in to this issue...Thank you

I have the same issue. I have PowerDirector version 6 and recently started having problems with "File Broken". I tried it on an XP Pro desktop and a Vista Ultimate Laptop...good specs on both and had the same problem. Ironically enough it always seemed to happen just before I finished my project. Tech support has yet to get back to me. I'm furious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
