Problem resolved.
The Windows update must have re-set audio input preferences (it has done that for other software in previous updates).
Resolved it by setting Microphone to OFF in Screen Recorder, then back to ON, which started a prompt that audio input must be set in Preferences. When the Preferences window opened, I was able to re-set the microphone and input audio to Microphone Array and the video capture is again recording sound.

Having a sudden issue.
When video recording through Capture, the microphone audio is not being captured.
When capturing just audio, the capture volume is quite low, even though the setting is on highest.
Audio playback on videos captured before the problem arose works fine.
I checked the Capture Settings: Audio device set on Microphone Array with Input Volume at highest. Audio Input greyed out, can't adjust.
I am able to adjust audio input level in Capture from Microphone however it sometimes registers sound and sometimes does not in the color spectrum.
Microphone input works fine in other software (Skype, for example).
I also just went through the latest Windows update. Not sure if that is relevant.
Can someone help?
