Note that the new versions of PowerDVD Ultra that supports BD 1.1 will not play back content from your hard-drive anymore, and it won't even play BD+ protected discs without AACS being present, BD+ will be on the majority of Fox Blu-rays soon. Plus there is still region control which cannot be bypassed unless you use third party software to get rid of AACS, but if the title uses BD+, then it still won't work. yes,no more component and only use output DVI and input HDMI(MY video card have only 2 output DVI and the component but my TV has only HDMI and component)if do not understand please ask,sorry my english not very well.
I just fix this problem with the HDMI TO DVI adapter.Before i connect my HTPC video card 8600 gts to 46''SONY HDTV throught compornent and now i connect them with DVI(My TV have no DVI so i need an adapter)and everything ok now.
yes.it connect with component,and how can i have the copyright to play movie.
i just built a HTPC and installed free trial POWERdvd8 but when i play dvd movie then i get the ERROR (see attach).but movie work good with nero 7 .my question is if i upgrade to powerdvd 8ulrta ,the error is fixed.thanks
