I have similar problem . When I burn disc, it shuts down. My computer is BenQ Notebook with Core Duo 2 2G, 2G RAM, Nvinda Geforce 8600M GS, 160G HD plus an USB 3.5" 320G HD. OP is Vista 32bit.
