Hi Michael and thanks for the quick reply,

Yes ! I am the administrator and I have also tried the fix you proposed.
Only comment is that the procedure doesn't show up the exact same way as described ???

Result = no Success

I have had this problem before with the 2320 upgrade ( PowerDVD 9 Ultra dated 2009-11-27 ) . Then a new version came PDVD9_Ultra_2320_DVD091223-01_R2.exe which solved the error 1402 + 1603.

After installing the above mentioned I had the 800401F9 instead

And now I am back to 1402 + 1603
+ that I don´'t know whether the 800401F9 is solved !

My setup is :

W7 64bit
Norton Internet Seciruty 2010
Nvidia 8600GT
ASUS Xonar
E6750

What is going on ???

Mogens
Great !!!!!

Now we are back 2 month ago

With the new 2528 patch I get the errors 1402 and 1603 when I install the patch.

What a tragic story Cyberlink !!

Please help me on this

Solving the region code issue + 800401F9
Dear Michael,

Will the PowerDVD 9 Ultra build 2528 patch solve this/these issues ??

Nothing is mentioned in the release notes ???
Hi Patrick and other Cyberlink Patients !!

I fully share your statements here.

I have now for 2 month's, not bin able to watch BD's with my PDVD9

This is simply not acceptable !

If all this is linked to the "Region Code" issue ??? I think it's time for a little quick fix from Cyberlink.

Mogens
Cyberlink-Michael,

Is this only for 7.3 users ???
Hi,

I have exact the same problem

I have now for 1½ month not bin able to play Blue ray discs.
At first hand I could not install the 2320 patch after I upgraded to W7 64bit.

This was solved for some weeks ago with good help from Cyberlink supoort.
But now I also have the 800401F9 error, which is linked to the maximum allowed region code changes .

I can see my region code count is inside PowerDVD 9Ultra = 0.

This is a know bug at Cyberlink.

I have complained about this a few times now, but not solved yet

Mogens
Thanks for your relpy

So what you are proposing is to set (in my case) the first screen "touch" to primary and second screen as extended desktop right !!

How shall I setup the Nvidia drivers ??? as dual view ???

My only concern is the user freindlyness. I am not shure that my daughter on 9 can figure it out ?????

I have recently shifted to PowerDVD. I used Theatertek (TT) before !!!!
TT had that very nice feature that you could select which screen it would use !!!!!
I can not find that feature in PowerDVD
That could have solved it.

Thanks again.

Dear Forum,

I have a setup with two monitors (touch screen & projector) !!!
Daily and primary use is the touch screen, BUT when I wan't to see movies or TV I switch on the projector !!

So wan't I want is to force Movies and TV to projector only !!
Can PowerDVD handle this for at least the movies ????

Please give input to an optimal setup :

My setup
Vista Home Premium 32Bit
Geforce 8600GT (Dual output)
ASUS Xonar soundcard

regards ASTVIC
