FIGURED IT OUT!!!! HAHAHAHA

I dont know why i didnt do this sooner..

I started to close out software runing in the taskbar just to see if all of the sudden it works.. and here i closed out ecverything i could.

Tried PhotoDIrector 9 and BAM, its open in like a milasecond! My jaw dropped and i was in total shock!!

I'm like wow.. Great. Now i just need to reboot and close off one program at a time till i figure out what one it was that was causing all this trouble.

Here its the MSI Afterburner Version 4.4.2. I updated it since theres a new 4.5 version out and still the same.

So this software cant work if i have open my GPU overclocking software! Crazy!

So i guess i gota just remember to close that out if i need to run my Cyberlink software.. Unless one of the 2 companies want to figure out why and patch it.

HURRAY!!! I can finally relax and stress out about something else haha

No Dice on the newer Director Suite 6 install set which was all the programs updated to the latest versions.

Sent them the CLCollectUserInfo back so they can see whats runing on the pc.

Hopefully they can see something in that.

Still starts and runs perfectly fine in Safe Mode.. so its gota be something thats preventing them from runing in Windows10.

Do you have a Windows Restore point? You may want to do that without affecting your files except for those after the restore point.

No not before it broke.. I got another response for a different download for the package. Will see what happends before I touch the registry.

A part of me is thinking it may be time to re install win10 fresh.. or go threw the registry and manually remove any reference to cyberlink with hopes that after that and another install of director 6.

Though I cant get passed the fact that all the software works perfectly in safe mode. Errors out right away in win10 but totally working in safe mode..

That has to tell someone something right??

Got another response from customer service which stated to uinstall the whole director suite 5 and gave me newer download links to redownload the whole thing again.. While i was doing that i upgraded to the Director Suite 6 in hopes it would solve my issue atleast.

Uninstalled the old Director Suite 5 again and removed all old folders for Cyberlink under the C drive under program files and under the user folder per usual.

Install the new DIrector Suite 6.. open up Power Director 16 and works like 15 did.. The others Color,Audio director do the exact same thing as before with the old software.. open up to an error message before the software opens and i send in the error report.. which i've done plenty of times in the past and never get a response from.. PhotoDIrector 9 never opens and i never get an error report.

Same crap as before.. out another $121 and change.

Yesterday they re authorized the software key so I can use it sgain.. still having the same issues though.

No mention if I can try it out on another pc in the house.. assuming no but no response.

Well I did get a response about this issue yesterday with some quick suggestions but no follow up response yet.. and no fix for the new activation issue.

Guess this will have to wait till after the holiday..

Was hoping to take advantage of the upgrade discount durring this holiday.. cant go blow a $100+ if I cant VR the current software running on my pc.

Currently uninstalling MS Visual Studio Cumminity 2015 and 2017 i installed on top in hopes thats whats causing this issue.

Wondering if i may have to reinstall director suite 5 again to see a difference.

There was a bunch of Windows Visual C++ i did install.. 2008,2010,2012,2013 and 201 Redistributables that was installed at the same time that might of caused this... dont know how safe it would be to remove those.

Just noticed that these were all installed on the same day as the last windows 1803 update so they might of came with that. ;/

Be nice if i could install DIrector 5 Suite on another PC to see if if works fine on the same windows build and Nvidia drivers.. If so i could install it on my sons rig.

Late last night I thought of something and tried all the programs in safe mode.. and they all worked perfectly.. whatever that can tell you. Something conflicting in windows or drivers?

Just messing around while I wait for the weekend to end when hopefully customer support gets back to me.

I have this feeling that if i could download the programs seperately and use the seperate keys they would work. No where to download them on the site.

Well i bought the director 5 suite which included all programs and thats always worked from day one till the lastest spring release update of windows 10.

Reinstalled it quite a few times after this issue and even patched the program with the lastest update as well and no difference.

I guess i'll contact them and let them know that Photodirector 8,Photodirector 5 and even AudioDirector 7 all wont start now. OUt of the 5 programs included Powerdirector 15 and Screen Recorder 15 only work.

I also just tried uninstalling photodirector 8 and reinstalling it with the antivirus dissabled and the same outcome.

Could not just copy and paste it in this forum. :/ Its downloadable above.

Every since the last major windows 10 update i cant get photodirector, Colordirector 5 or AudioDirector 7 to successfully open. I see the banner come up and a few seconds later its gone. I check the task manager and theres no Cyberlink program loaded.

Basicly tried everything i could think of.. uninstalled the single progrqam from the director 5 bundle and even uninstalled and reinstalled the whole suite and nothing. Also tried downloading the lastest updates and no difference.

I can open PowerDIrector15 though and thats it.
