Windows control panel

PowerDVD is not listed anywhere in there... :/
After configured the file association from control panel default program settings, edit the reg key on your way manually.
Does it work for your case?

I'm not shure what you suggest?
What controlpanel? You mean settings inside PowerDVD?
I already edited the registry as I mentioned but right-clicking on for example a .jpg shows open with PowerdDVD 17 as an option.
That is what I'd liked to remove, if I can find the right key/keys in registry.

Best regards,
Mike
Hello!
Planning on buying PowerDVD 17.
Installed the trial version and noticed somethings I would like to edit.
I will only use PowerDVD for playing BD/DVD and nothing else.
I will only use PC Mode.
Using Windows 7 x64.
I can edit the UI settings to remove all unwanted associations (including ISO) and configure player UI settings as I would like it to show.
So far so good.
I also removed the "Play with CyberLink PowerDVD 17" registry key [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\$PowerDVD]
I like to have a clean right-click meny with as few items as possible.
There is one/several keys I can't find in registry and that is right-click on for example a .jpg picture and "Open with" --> and PowerDVD 17 shows up.
.jpg is not associated to PowerDVD so I'm confused why its there in right-clikc menu?
I'm very experienced with regedit and configuring the keys in there.
So if anyone can show me how to edit out "PowerDVD 17" from right-click menu that would be great!

Thanks and best regards,
Mike Gartner
