Quote Can you given an example? dates of video-files do not change when I input them!?

In Media Content on PowerDirector:

Name Duration Size Date Type
00366.MTS 00;00;32;00 64.4MB 18/01/23 21:44 H264AVC

From the file on my computer:

Name Date Type Size Length
00366.MTS 12/23/2017 6:07 PM MTS File 65,976 KB 00:00:31

It doesn't matter if I import the file in its folder or import them as a group in a folder. I lose the shooting date and time. I also hate how the date is formated in PowerDirector, but that is just an annoyance. Any suggestions?

Dave
When I go to my file of videos I want to import, they are dated with the date and time they were taken. When I import them, the dates are changed. I don't think this occurrred until recently. I do not like having the year first, but don't know how to reconfigure that either. Losing the date of the video is the major problem for me.
When I import video, I lose the date and time that the video was shot. It changes to the time and date that the files were downloaded into the program. I would like to change it back to the time the videos were taken. I also would like the year last, rather than first: 01/23/18 rather than 18/01/23. Any suggestions?

Dave
